Proud To Be An American

This weekend is affectionately known as "Memorial Day Weekend" in the United States. As American's we will be able to celebrate the weekend with our friends and family because of great men and women who made the sacrifice to protect our country and ensure the freedoms we enjoy today.

Today, America is still the greatest country on the face of the earth. I love it. And, I am eternally thankful for everyone who has served or is currently serving in the military.

I am honored because I was named after my father's brother "Billy" who lost his life in World War II. Both my father and my wife's father served in the military...I salute you both.

My cousin, Paul, serves in the military...I salute you. My son-in-law, Rich, serves in the military...I salute you. Thank you all.

We all know someone who has served or is currently serving in the military. Let's take a moment this weekend to stop and say "thanks for your service to our country".

Below are 2 links that I think deserve reading and listening to this weekend...while you're thanking our veterans why not check them out?

Be Well.

Bill
