I love football. I love to play football and I love to watch football. I love to watch teams like the Ravens and the Jets play each other because it is 100% pure smash-mouth football. It is put up or shut up when those teams play.
In the last week, the Jets were embroiled in some controversy about a female reporter who claimed that while she was in the locker room trying to interview the Jets quarterback, some of the players were making comments and playing games. I can only imagine.
While I agree that nobody should be harassed when it comes to their job, this reported, who was named "One of the Five Hottest Sports Reporters In The World", says she wasn't harassed. So what's all the fuss about?
Somebody thought there might be an issue because some of the players turned into giggling schoolboys when she came into the locker room. No kidding...even Stevie Wonder could have seen that one coming. Did I mention that in addition to being a reporter that she is a model? I guarantee everyone of those guys had checked her out on the Internet and couldn't wait to see her. That's what guys do. They weren't doing anything inappropriate, they were just in the presence of a woman whose body will one day be in the Hall of Fame.
Honestly, I think she was sent there by the Ravens. We all know that when men see a good looking woman that they can't concentrate and their palms get sweaty and they start to ..... (never mind). The point is that somebody over-reacted because somebody thought that somebody might be embarrassed or upset. Well, just like in the game from Monday night, the Jets organization jumped offsides. She seemed to be good about it. For Christ's sake, she's no John Madden.
I don't know about allowing any reporters in the locker room...how about next time she waits until the player she is going to interview has some pants on like they do in those post game interviews. Now that's a novel thought.
Be Well.
