Lately I've been thinking about people that I would label a Cry Baby. Contrary to the term, I am not actually talking about someone who cries nor am I talking about an infant. I am talking about adults who whine too much and definitely know better.
These people will complain about anything. You know the type. Hell...you have some at work. You see them at church. I'll bet you even have some in your family. They go through life with blinders - failing to see the goodness that surrounds them.
Enough with the complaining...I can't stand it anymore. Are you a quadriplegic? Do you have an incurable disease? Then shut the hell up.
Life is a gift - enjoy it. Sure, it gets tough sometimes but stop being a baby. Some people would rather complain than count the blessings that God has given them. My experience has been that the blessings in our lives far outweigh the speed bumps that come our way.
Joni Eareckson Tada once wrote, "Whatever troubles are weighing you down are not chains. They are featherweight compared to the glory yet to come. With a sweep of a prayer and the praise of a child's heart, God can strip away any cobweb."
Be Well.
