What's With All The Complaining?

Lately I've noticed that there are a lot of complainers in the world.  They've probably always been out there but now it seems like I can't go anywhere without hearing them or seeing what they've written.  Chronic complainers seem to look at life with a victim mentality.  This gives them the perfect platform to mutter on incessantly about how unfair life is and it renders them incapable of being able to shut the hell up about all of the unfairness in their life. Often times, their head is so far up their ass that it is impossible for them to recognize anything positive or good in their life.

What I've observed is that most complainers don't usually see themselves as the problem.  They see the world as negative and they are merely responding appropriately to their unfortunate circumstances.  Quite simply, they complain because they believe they have very good reason(s) to do so.

As victims of life's unfortunate and aggravating circumstances, complainers seek public recognition of their hardship.  It is important for them to have others validate their feelings and to have some sense of emotional validation for all of the wrong in their life.  Even if you try to point out something good in their life, they will only be too happy to bring up a few hundred other examples of all of the misfortunes that they have had to endure.

At the risk of being labeled as a complainer because I am complaining about complainers, I think it's about time that we all take a look on the inside and check to see if our words and our attitudes are moving the world in a positive or negative direction.  Let's face it, complaining only serves to divide.  And nobody wants to hear or be around a complainer.  Well, at least I don't.

Each day I try to leave my little piece of the world just a little bit better than it was before I got there.  I'm reminded that a very famous person once said that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.  Wow!  When your heart if filled with love and compassion your words reflect the love emanating from inside you.  Your perspective on the world is one of hope and great opportunity.  Maybe, just maybe, it's time for each of us to think about what our words are saying about what is in our hearts.  Just sayin'...

Be Well.
