Fighting Back

"What ever happened to the young man's heart; Swallowed by pain, as he slowly fell apart..."

Today was one of those days where my mood matched the weather...dark and gray.  I went in search of something to lift my spirits but none of them worked.  I even watched the video of that guy who shoots his lawyer while the lawyer tries to hide behind the skinny tree.  That always makes me laugh; but not today.  Mamma told me there'd be days like this.

Over the years, I've learned to watch for the warning signs of when my inner self is about to take a turn for the worse.  I've also learned that who we are is about 95% subconscious and 5% conscious.  Whether you are awake or asleep your mind or spirit or inner self or whatever you wish to call it is staying active; processing everything that is going on inside and on the outside of you.  And sometimes my inner processor does a great job of processing everything and sometimes it just melts down.

So today Planet Kirby went to DEFCON 2.  Had we gone to DEFCON 1, we would have had to lock ourselves inside the mountain.  Yes, that is a reference to one of my favorite movies 'War Games' from 1983.  Anyway, at DEFCON 2, I automatically begin recalling all of the blessings in my life.  Sometimes your mind gets so cluttered up with negative things that it begins to affect who you are and how you live your life.

It is at this point, that I would like to remind a certain someone that if you don't like what you are reading and if this is not relative to you or you think it is bull shit; there are only 11,456,234 other websites out there waiting for you to discover them.  And as a public service message just for you...I hear that the makers of the new drug to treat erectile dysfunction, I think it's called mycocksadrill, are looking for people like you to help them in a clinical trial.  So why don't you leave now and visit their site?  I can't remember the actual website, but just go to Google and type in "Help for men suffering from mycocksafloppin" and I'm sure you'll be redirected.

And then sometimes in addition to counting your blessings, you might just need to blow off some steam.  Well, it's obvious I still wasn't over my episode from the other day.  No one acts like a 3rd grader better than me.  Not only was Johnson Heights the "smart" elementary school, it produced a lot of Smart Asses like me.  And sometimes, being a smart ass is a good way to fight back at the world.  Planet Kirby is now back to DEFCON 5.  Another melt down has been averted.  God, I love to write.

Be Well.
